“He who does not long to know more of Christ, knows nothing of Him yet…If you do not desire to know Him better, then you love Him not, for love always cries, “Nearer, Nearer!”   -C.H. Spurgeon

This statement rings so true in our walk with the Lord. Once we have had a love encounter with our creator it is near impossible for us not to realize just how deep the depths of his love are. One thing that always excites me about my relationship with God is the deeper I go, and the more I seek, always leaves me realizing how much more there is to know. Now at first that may seem frustrating, but no…That’s the beauty of it! There is always more to know of God. We will never get to a place where we have finally, officially “arrived”.  We are called to constantly be working out our salvation, constantly searching our heart, and constantly going deeper.

Sometimes what we know cripples us. If we ever get to a place where we feel completely comfortable and satisfied with where our relationship is with God, then we probably are complacent. That is a bold statement, but I firmly believe that there’s always MORE.

God is an ocean…and right now…we are only in the river. There’s MORE.

I pray that God would take your youth deeper! I pray that YOU would go deeper…and that God would pour out wisdom, and knowledge of Him.

Pittsburgh needs to go deeper. Pittsburgh WILL go deeper.

Let do it.

Christina Tineo

Hello There!

Some feedback that Youth Leaders have given us in the past is that they would love to see some of the music played at the events available BEFORE the event, this way their youth can become more familiar with the artists! I want to give you guys all the resourses available to prepare your group, and also to help you out with getting your youth excited and ready for what is to come on the weekend of May 8th and 9th!

We released a worship CD, with different artists such as Phil Joel, Undhindered, some Here Comes Trouble specific tracks, and some of Teen Mania’s School of Worship originals!

I want to offer you this CD download COMPLETELY FREE!

All you need to do is call in, I want to connect with you…hear about your youth ministry…see how I can help you in preparing you for the event this year.

Call my direct line at 903-324-7824, and when you call just mention this blog and the free CD download! We will then give you the promotional code for you to download the CD for yourself…and you will also be free to give this CD to your YOUTH!

Today is actually our last day in the office. I hope you guys have a wonderful holiday! Feel free to leave a message on my voicemail..and we’ll be sure to give you a call back once we’re in the office on the 29th of December!

God Bless!

Pittsburgh Youth Leaders!

One of our favorite things about connecting with you guys…is just how encouraging and refreshing it is to hear from REAL people…who REALLY love the Lord…and REALLY want to see the spirit of God move!

This event is all about us connecting…linking arms…to see a fire lit in the hearts of youth in this area! Although this event will only be in this city for a weekend…we trust youth leaders like YOU to keep the fire going! Your youth are going to encounter God in a deeper, more intimate way, but this is just the beginning…just the spark. God is an all consuming fire…and he loves your youth with a JEALOUS JEALOUSY! He won’t relent until he has ALL of their heart!

Thank you for your passion and zeal to see young people lovesick for our creator. Thank you for the countless hours of planning, praying, and teaching you invest in your group. Your labor is not going unnoticed! Although it may seem that you are putting in so much and not seeing fruit…I can assure you that God is pleased…and he is MIGHTY to save!! So we just do our part…be faithful with what the Lord has given us…and TRUST that God will take care of the rest!

Friends…

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

                                                -Galatians 6:9

Thank you for not giving up on your youth! The things you are doing that are going unseen…are those that bring the most glory to the father!!

In His Strength,

Christina Tineo

As promised, here’s another blog to keep you guys updated with the newest info about this year’s Pittsburgh ATF. Like I mentioned before, I will be updating this about three times a week, so be sure to check back frequently for updates, and also post comments if you have any questions, or if there is any information you would like to see up here!

I wanted to make sure you guys had the Discounted Hotel Information for our event! There are only two hotels, so I would jump on the opportunity ASAP, however if we do see that these hotels get booked up, and there are still Youth Groups who are looking for a discounted place to stay, we will see what we can do about adding another option to the list (but no promises yet.)

Here is the list that you have all been waiting for! (drum roll please…)

Hope that helps! Remember, the SUPER EARLY BIRD deadline isn’t until MARCH, so you have a good chunk of time to prepare, fundraise, and get your youth committed and ready! I definitely want to see you guys reserve your seats if possible by the first deadline because it is the cheapest tickets of the season! I know the money you will save can be put to many other beneficial things for your ministry!

Have a wonderful weekend! Keep Christ the reason for the season! I pray that God would give you renewed vision and a zealous heart for the youth you are leading!

In His Strength,

Christina Tineo

Friends!

First of all I would like to wish you all a beautiful holiday season! I’ll go ahead and introduce myself really quick! My name is Christina Tineo, and I’m the Regional Manager for the Pittsburgh Acquire the Fire. I actually served as a caller for ATF last year for the Pittsburgh event, so it’s very likely that I have spoken to you or at least have left a message on your answering machine in the past! :)  I am a Florida girl, but for some reason last year, the Lord broke my heart for the city of Pittsburgh and for the surrounding areas! We are constantly praying for the youth and youth pastors of the area…and what we’re doing here at Acquire the Fire is not just a job, it is a mission! My call team (who I will eventually introduce to you guys), and myself have a heart, passion, and zeal to see things stirred up in Pittsburgh. This event isn’t taking place until May 8th and 9th, which seems a bit far out, but I think this is one of the most important times! This is the time to stand in the gap and intercede for what is going to take place on that weekend! We have total confidence that the Lord is going to do a mighty work…and there will be a change and shift in the surrounding areas of Pittsburgh! We are so excited to be linking arms with you to see this region encounter God in a REAL way!

Please feel free to give me a call on my direct line 903-324-7824, or email me at Christina.Tineo@teenmania.org. I would LOVE to hear about your ministry and be able specifically pray for your group and also to tell you the vision for this year’s ATF coming in May!

Be sure to keep updated with the Blog! I will be adding new information and updates weekly. Many of you have been asking for hotel information, I should have that posted in the very near future! God Bless!

In His Strength,

Christina Tineo
